Mobile access

Students should not need a laptop to stay active in a program.

The student app keeps submissions and communication close to the student. High school students can submit grades and write donor letters, while post-secondary students can manage fee applications and upload supporting documents.

Alumni journey

Keep supporting students into the job market.

The Openlabs Africa student journey can continue after primary, high school, college, or university. Alumni can build profiles, upload CVs, review job matches, and use AI support to prepare applications for local and remote opportunities.

Jobs can be filtered around the student profile, interests, hobbies, course background, and preferred work path. The goal is to help graduates move from sponsorship into employment with the same continuity that supported them through school.

Graduation is not the end state

Openlabs Africa can keep alumni connected after school by carrying their education history, interests, skills, and support records into the next stage.

CV and job application support

Students can maintain CVs and profiles that AI support can adapt for stronger, more relevant job applications.

AI-assisted applications

Cover letters, job-fit summaries, and application preparation can be generated from each alumnus profile and reviewed before submission.

Outcome visibility

Organizations can see how supported students progress into internships, local roles, remote jobs, and longer-term alumni impact.

AI support for repetitive program work.

Openlabs Africa AI tools are designed to work from the rules each organization gives them. Staff remain responsible for final decisions, while the tools prepare the evidence and calculations.

Fee application review support

AI support can read fee structures and statements, calculate what needs to be paid, and prepare a spreadsheet for staff review.

Letter and document review

Review student letters, required files, and application evidence against the rules each organization sets.

Sponsor communication

Keep sponsors close to the journey with letters, updates, replies, and program reports connected to the right student records.

Progress monitoring

Track academic performance, submissions, schools, student categories, and follow-up needs across the whole program.
